Name.
Brigid Harrington

What city/state were you living at the time you were cast?
Barnegat, New Jersey

What year(s) did you perform? Length of performance?
2011, May through November

How old were you while performing in the show?
11

Name your favorite memory.
My favorite memory was the feeling I had during my last performance, and when I came back for BCEFA's Gypsy of The Year to represent Mary Poppins. During my final show of Mary Poppins, I felt so proud. I totally enjoyed what I had accomplished and was excited about the future. I wasn't sad or cried or anything...I was just proud of what I did and how I did it. Then when they asked me to come back within a week to perform my "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" part of the Gypsy skit and the crowd went so crazy, it was a great feeling and the perfect way to say goodbye to Mary Poppins and the New Amsterdam Theatre.

What was your craziest backstage moment?
Oh, there were SO many crazy moments backstage, but I think I'll save them for my autobiography! LOL.

What was your most humbling experience?
My most humbling experience had to be meeting Sergeant Leroy Petry who was given the Medal of Honor. After meeting him backstage and reading about what he did to receive that award, I was so honored to have met a true hero...who was so brave and sacrificed so much to help someone other than himself. Not many people would have the courage to do that.

What did you do on your standby days?
I did a lot of homework! I also watched movies, ate a lot of Schnipper's mac & cheese and it was always fun to get Pinkberry deliveries! I had a lot of fun playing games and helping Anthony Scarpone-Lambert make his wacky inventions. We went through a lot of scotch tape.

What are you doing and how old are you now?
I just turned 13, and I'm so excited to be starting my 4th year on the Disney Channel, as the voice of "Koko" in Chuggington! I am currently recording new episodes and 3 movies that will be shown on the Disney Channel. I also shot a scene for a feature film - Lullaby - which should be coming out soon. I will be performing at a gala event at the Skyline Theatre hosted by Brian d'Arcy James and featuring other Broadway performers, plus I did a national commercial with my little sister that ran a couple of months ago. I'm mostly excited about getting ready to launch an anti-bullying program I have been working on for a while. It's all about helping kids to be strong against bullying from all kinds of people, kids and adults. I want to help kids out there to know that standing up against bullying is about the coolest thing you can do.

What are your future plans?
Professionally I hope to do what I've always done...commercials, TV, voiceovers, theater, film...and continue to be on the Disney Channel and do more Broadway! It's all been an honor and I plan on continuing doing everything. Personally I want to continue to do well in school and have FUN in everything I do, but most importantly I want to be like Sergeant Petry - who without Mary Poppins I would've never met. I want to always have the courage to not just stand up for myself, but also for others.

How has the show impacted you?
Along with being an incredible experience, it has proven to me that I am capable of achieving anything no matter what...as long as I stay true to myself!

Describe your experience in one word.
BOFFO!
