April 2013 - March 2014

Brigid has been quite a busy girl over these past 11 months and enjoyed doing a wide variety of projects for stage and screen. First up in April of 2013, Brigid took the stage at Manhattan's best after-hours cabaret -- Broadway Sessions which takes place every Thursday night at The Laurie Beechman Theater on 42nd street in NYC. The evening Brigid performed also featured a reunion of cast members from the recent Broadway revival of Hair. Click here for the article in BroadwayWorld.com. Perhaps the highlight of 2013 for Brigid came in August when she got the opportunity to participate in a developmental workshop and staged reading of a truly amazing new musical. Brigid got a call from Jed Bernstein (President, Lincoln Center), telling Brigid she had been cast in the workshop/reading directed by Broadway and TV Director Lonny Price. The brilliant new musical (currently titled Middle School: A Story of Survival), was written by two amazing talents; Michael Mitnick (King Kong, Animal House, The Giver), and Simon Rich (Saturday Night Live>, Pixar, The Last Girlfriend on Earth). Brigid enjoyed the fluid, creative process and helping the creative team. She also enjoyed working with her talented castmates including the male lead Adam Reigler who was "Pugsley" in The Addams Family on Broadway, and the two adult leads David Rossmer and Heather Ayers.

Shortly after the "Middle School" workshop/staged reading, Brigid was honored when Michael Mitnick asked her to perform one of her solos from the musical at a concert celebrating his music at Joe's Pub in Manhattan. The evening was very memorable and she was thrilled to share that legendary stage with other Broadway singers honoring Mitnick's work including her solo - the brilliant teenage anthem "I Wanna Go Back" penned by Mitnick and Rich.

In February 2014 Brigid went on location for several days to shoot a couple of scenes in the FX Network's hit show Louie, written, directed and produced by comedian Louie C.K. The episode is part of the show's 4th season which begins in May 2014. Brigid will appear in flash-back scenes in the 80's with a young "Louis".

In March 2014 Brigid was pleased to sing again with other Broadway performers at the Skyline Theatre Company's 13th annual Concert of Stars, hosted by Skyline's Board President and Phantom of The Opera's "Carlotta", Michelle McConnell. Broadway Director and Skyline's Artistic Director Sam Scalamoni put another fabulous line-up of Broadway talent together that evening to raise funds for the theatre, award scholarships and community leaders.

Brigid was also at GoldCrest Post Studios in NYC frequently throughout the year recording episodes for Season 4 of Chuggington, which is airing on the Disney and Disney Jr. Channels. Brigid also had the opportunity to sang and act on Chuggington's first animated music video - "Chugg Patrol" for the Disney Channel. The music video is also available on Chuggington's DVD "Chugg Patrol Ready To Rescue".
